1. For Whitney

Changing jobs is tough, and you are most likely to feel depressed when you are coming off an emotional high + physically exhausted + isolated.

So I wanted to share some reminders:

    1. Use extra time on your hands to cook healthy, vegetable-filled meals and stay on a regular schedule by going to bed by 1 am, even if you have nowhere to be the next day.
    2. Stay connected. Make regular phone calls to the kinds of people who will call you if you didn’t call them.
    3. Make a routine event in the middle of the day, and use it for scheduling your time.
    4. If you start questioning anything, remember my friend Rebecca’s helpful reminder: “You have already done the hardest part, taking the steps to leave your former situation. You’re just now in the process of making your new life match what you’d imagined.” Becks is smart, and its a good reminder.
