Weekend update
Friday night: I did nothing
Saturday: I did nothing
Sunday morning & afternoon: I did nothing
Sunday night: I cleaned the bathroom, vacuumed all the floors, mopped the floor, emptied out the fridge, cooked a real dinner, ran and emptied the dishwasher, cleaned the countertops, and took a shower.
I still need to grade and do laundry and maybe a little systematic grocery shopping tomorrow...

After all we went through together, and all he went through alone, there are three things I know for sure:
1. We were so young and so scared so often, so much more than we ever really shared. I don’t understand who the f*#/ thinks any teenager (=child) is ready for that.

I hate it when people have symbols in their name. Just spell it Kesha.
As much as the lyrics of this song are super dumb, it is still stuck in my head 7 hours later.
Only a teenager would think it’s a good thing to be looking sick and sexy-fied.
It’s almost impossible to sing a song with this much auto-tune in it without sounding ridiculous.

Freezer suggestions
Make an entire cake, ice it, then cut it into slices on a plate. Put the whole plate in the freezer for 15-20 minutes so the icing hardens. Wrap each slice in wax paper, then put four wrapped slices into a gallon freezer bag. To eat/rehearing, put one slice in the microwave for 15 seconds to knock the chill off or 30 seconds to warm it slightly.
Chili: make, divide into one or two cup portions...
All the time Josh tells me the best time to clean is the first fifteen minutes home from work, before you allow yourself to sit down. I argue this is stupid. Not only is that the most awesome time to sit down, it’s just going to get dirty again. Better right before bed, so you can wake up to a clean house. Josh says the key flaw with that is no one wants to clean right before they go to bed....

WOW there is a LOT of truly bad hair on the Golden Globes red carpet tonight! Is it really just that hot right now in LA? It makes me feel better about my hair… there’s no humidity here in 20 degree snow covered Ohio

Josh left for Cleveland this morning to pack up things to ship to Oregon. We’ve planned the map, the meals, and the hotels...

A year in review
2010 is over! Will I miss it? Who knows?
There were many bad things this year. I discovered my new landlords weren’t any less crazy than Rick. My job has bordered on awful. Josh has been out of work. The cats have been sick. It’s been harder to save money.
But there’s sure been a LOT of good if I sit back and think about it. My masters degree is half done! My new landlords...
